Before Treatment
To help prevent bruising, it is best to avoid all blood-thinning medications and supplements 10 days prior to any injectable service.
These include:
Ibuprofen
Aspirin
Aleve
Naproxen
Vitamin E
Fish oil
Avoid alcohol 2 days prior to treatment
After Treatment
Neurotoxin
Avoid exercise and facials/massages for the rest of the day after your neurotoxin treatment.
Fillers & PRF
Avoid exercise and facials/massages for the rest of the day after your neurotoxin treatment. No laser or radiofrequency treatments for 6 weeks after treatment.
Threads
No exercise for 72 hours after the procedure, avoid exaggerated facial movements for 1 week, ice as needed for discomfort, avoid lasers and radiofrequency treatments for 2 months after treatment, no chiropractic adjustments of the neck for 1 mo.
Microneedling
Avoid home skin care products for 48 hours after treatment and use only products provided by Balanced Aesthetics & Wellness, avoid exercise and make-up for 24 hours, no retinoids or alpha-hydroxy acids for 1 week after treatment
